Happy Halloween! Yes, it’s that time of year again where we look back on the British summer and our show season and get ready for the spooky season and dare I even mention the run up to Christmas, no let’s not go there just yet!
Well, we’ve certainly embraced the horror theme in this issue; vampires, zombies and severed limbs are amongst the art that fill the pages this time, we take a look at the comic work of Huw Evans, Retro-a-go-go reveal ‘the man behind the mask’, Australian tattooist and airbrush artist Kyla Vermeulen shares her art with us. Gary Worthington starts off his ‘creature from the black lagoon’ step by step and we bring you the first in a series on The High Art of Riding Low exhibition from The Petersen Automotive Museum.
Marcus Eisenhuth is our cover artist and takes us through part 1 of his burning skull step by step, we take a look at the weird & wonderful works of Mar©uz art and showcase events; Tamworth graffiti festival and Stripe-O-Rama, Finland as well as a sneak peak at KKBO8 in our lowdown.
